My name is Miriam, I'm 20 years old and I'm from Germany, however I'm living in Austria at the moment, to study there.

PHILOSOPHY

You shouldn't always look back or into the future... you should live your life now.. and I believe that it's the little things in life that really matter and that make you happy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment I mainly participate by hosting people. I work quite a lot at the moment, that is why I don't have any time for travelling at all. However I'm planning to visit Amsterdam and Hamburg soon and I'm hoping to expand my surfing experience there. ;)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far I've hosted:

- Harun from Turkey for one night
- Ömer from Turkey for five nights
- Bea from Spain for two nights
- Esther and Anna from the Netherlands for two nights
- Ellie and Becka from England for one night

I surfed:

- Gosia from Poland for one night

I've also had a good experience with everyone I met so far and I'm looking forward to getting to know more people from all over the world. :)

Interests

I study International Development and that's what I'm also interested in, I like talking about what's going on in the world or discussing recent happenings. I love conversations, but not superficial conversations. When I talk to someone I want to share my opinion. Like this, you can get different views and different subjects and maybe learn to understand something from a completely different perspective. But sometimes I'm also quite silly, as I'm a cheerful person and enjoy having a laugh with other people. So it always depends on whether I'm in a "crazy" or more "serious" mood. ;)
