ABOUT ME

I am a multi tasker! I am finishing my social studies teaching degree, I have been involved in a lot of politics and blogging, I wish I had the time to take more photos like I used to--

Really I am a Doula (google it) by Trade--an artist in my spare time and I try to make life fun and I love having projects. I am a perfectionist which is a good and a bad thing.

I generally keep to myself, I am most often found when I am not working at my house relaxing and playing with my dogs or reading or whatever. I love having close friends over but ive not done it much. I am non domestic in the cooking area but I try to keep on top of the cleaning thing but it's definitely not my favorite thing to do. I don't think I will ever be domesticated but i'm cool with that

I used to intern for Obama's campaign and I was the Council Coordinator and Media Coordinator for Moveon.org but had to set that part of my life aside to go ahead and really finish my bachelors degree and start the rest of my life!

PHILOSOPHY

I am a democrat, after all my views on most topics correspond more closely to the editorial pages of the new york times than those of the wall street journal. I am angry about politics that consistently fervor the wealthy and powerful over average Americans, and insist that government has an important role in opening up opportunity to all. I believe in evolution, scientific inquiry, and global warming; i believe in free speech, whether politically correct or not, and i am suspicious of using government to impose anybody's religious beliefs-including my own-on non believers."
