ABOUT ME

Never seem to be able to stay still. Always wanted to see every country in the world as something as a life ambition and seems to be the only thing that I don't get bored of. Never happier than sitting in the water, preferably on a surfboard, kayak, boat, ideally not surrounded by jellyfish. I work (and play) in animation and love making little movies/music vids/timelapses whenever possible.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've used couchsurfing in lots of countries around the world and it's been a fantastic way to travel and meet like-minded people.

Music, Movies, and Books

Love movies by Luc Besson, Terry Gillingham, Darren Aronofsky, Tim Burton Rob Reiner. Favorourites 'the big blue', 'the princess bride', Edward scissorhands, Nightmare before christmas.

Cant live without music, love HipHop - Ninja tunes, coldcut, blackalicious, Dj Shadow, LTJ Bukum, to more chilled stuff - dub, folk etc - Nick Drake, Elliot Smith, Damon Alburn and the various collaborations of his.

Books:- Was fanatical about books by Ian (M) Banks for a while and 'the wasp factory' is still a favourite, laughed out load continuously through 'hitchhikers guide to the galaxy', starting to love books by people who have traveled interestingly, 'Old man and the sea' 'China wakes'. Books that blow my mind - 'Brave New World' and '1984'.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Standing in volcanoes in Indonesia, Surfing 'the bitches, in Wales, the coastline of peru, portugal and cornwall. Sandboarding in the rain down dunes in the sahara, being shot by fireworks at Remedios in cuba and cusco in peru, getting lost twice in the forest in lake toba and the amazon in peru. Arriving half dead and tired watching the sunrise at Adams peak, sri lanka, watching the eclipse in china.

I'm always trying to be creative, taking photos, making movies, creating time lapses and animating. If anyone see's me around their area and would like to collaborate or has any interesting ideas they would like to develop get in contact.
