My name is Mohamad Nabhan, I was born in Amman, Jordan in 1992. I grew up in amman, the capital of Jordan with my family. After completing high school, I enrolled in University of Jordan with a major in pharmacy. Throughout my studies, I have focused on media, entrepreneurship and marketing. In 2013, I completed an additional diploma in the United States, in the field of Business Administration and Entrepreneurship. Not only did this opportunity provide me with increased academic and theoretical knowledge, but it also allowed me to be exposed to a foreign culture and further develop my intercultural understanding. My various academic and professional endeavors have improved and expanded my knowledge and understanding of my interests: business, social-media, marketing, and culture.

I have worked as an Arabic language and cultural tutor, a youth team leader, and as the founder of various cross-cultural and language organizations including the Beyond Borders Initiative (BBI) at the University of Jordan. BBI's intent is to bring together international and Jordanian youth to share linguistic lessons, as well as facilitate cultural exchange. These partnerships are important for the development of creativity, openness, and diversity, which will in turn foster the creation of new and smart solutions. Throughout my experience as a founder and member of various organizations – such as Creative Generation, New Democratic Institute, and World Economic Forum – I have not only learnt a great deal about how to establish and run an organization, but also the potential and real pitfalls that organizations must withstand. I hope to use these lessons, both positive and negative, to my advantage in my future endeavors.
