I also have an affinity for Iran because it is close to our holy land, Iraq, which I also wish to visit. Visiting places like Karbala and Najaf has been a dream of mine since childhood. If I find someone in Iran who can accompany me there, I will definitely go.

One amazing thing I’ve done is letting go of the girl I was with. We had been in a relationship for 7 years but never proposed to each other. During this time, she got engaged, but we continued talking. One day, she proposed to me, and I accepted. However, we never discussed marriage. Then, during the COVID-19 pandemic, her mother fell ill, and we took her to the hospital together. Our bond grew stronger, and one day she proposed marriage again. I declined, reminding her of her engagement. She insisted, and eventually, I shared my feelings and agreed.

We began planning our future, but she hesitated to tell her family about us. Despite this, she ended her engagement, but the man insisted on marrying her and even came to her house to confront her family. She suggested we elope, but I refused due to the cultural implications. Her wedding date was set, and although we met and cried together, nothing could be done.

On her wedding day, I was with her until the end. A few days later, she called me, saying she missed me. We started talking again, and her husband found out. He confronted her, and my family got involved, with my father scolding me for interfering in her marriage. That was the last time we spoke. I believe I did the right thing by letting her go.
