I teach in London ON, while finishing my PhD in English. I'm also teaching at a college and loving it.
I'd describe myself as good-humoured, easygoing, educated, active, healthy, spontaneous, and open-minded.
I enjoy nature and the company of people who are open and genuine.
I care about social justice matters and movements and support them however I can.

I think people should share good times together more often. Life's too damn short!

I find the underlying idea of Couchsurfinig interesting and practical. It reminds us that travelling is not all about getting from one point to the other or just about consumerist tourism -which involves booking best reviewed hotels and visiting the most famous places without even venturing to experience the local life and culture.

For me couch-surfing opens a window to connecting with people, taking interest in their culture and lifestyle, without any expectations. It is about making a human connection.

I'm into literature and art. I enjoy sports and work-out-- volleyball, badminton, biking, hiking, etc. I like being outdoors, going to beach, wandering into nature and getting lost in trails!
I enjoy movies and books too, but a bit picky with those.

With books I enjoy fiction that ventures into the darkest corners of human mind or questions the normal everyday reality: Edgar Alan Poe, Herman Melville, William Burroughs, Nathanael West, and countless others.
