My name is Mohammed Alsaid. I usually go by Alsaid, which means “The Happy Person” in my mother tongue Arabic.  I am from Saudi Arabia, which is another way of saying I am an international student in Troy University, Alabama.   I am a General Business major. I started at Troy in the fall of 2013 and expected to graduate in 2016.  I consider myself an outgoing person because I get involved in various campus activities: I am a member of a fraternity, Tau Kappa Epsilon. I am involved with international clubs like ISCO and Tea for Troy. I believe that people are meant to be different because if we are not different, then life will be less interesting because there is no diversity. I am a straightforward person who likes to voice my opinion, even though disagreement might occur; the most important thing is to be respectful. I prefer to make friends from different backgrounds and cultures. I also believe that I am not perfect and that it is impossible to be perfect. However, I like who I am and I always make an effort to become a better person.
