About Me

After completing my studies in Morocco with a degree in International Business/Supply Chain Management, my thirst for learning led me to extend my journey to Canada to benefit from its high standard of education, particularly in Operations Management. Find me on LinkedIn: Mohammed BAJJOU.

I am from the city of Fes, where the world's first university, recognized by UNESCO, is located in the heart of the old Medina.

Cooking is my passion, and I aspire to work in the culinary field. I also aim to learn at least five languages before I kick the bucket.

I'm an avid sports enthusiast and admire those who embrace physical activity without succumbing to laziness.

My English level isn't very high, but recently, I've started taking an interest in the language. It's one of the reasons I'm here. Everything I've written in English has been translated, which will greatly help me practice and put in the effort to learn. '' It's not difficult, just a matter of time. ''

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Hailing from Morocco, a country renowned for the hospitality of its people (if you've never been, just ask those who have visited), it's only natural that I find myself on Couchsurfing. My aim is twofold, to host travelers visiting Montreal, my current city, while also seizing the opportunity to travel and meet new people through this platform.

Though my wanderlust is strong, finding the time for extensive travel has been a challenge. Nevertheless, I view travel as a form of therapy ,a chance to explore, learn, and grow. I look forward to immersing myself in new cultures and embracing the positive energy that comes with meeting new people.

Open-minded and eager to learn, I'm excited to discover new customs and adopt the best practices of those I encounter. Couchsurfing, to me, represents more than just a means of finding accommodation, it's a gateway to adventure, discovery, and connection.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach my native language, Arabic, and my second language, French. Learn English as well as good habits and behaviors. Share my experience and knowledge.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I live in a studio, so it's a shared space. However, what I can offer travelers is a double bed where they will sleep alone (see photos), offering a direct view of the sky, sunny all day and overlooking the stars at night. I live in the heart of Montreal, next to a large park, and the metro station is about a 7-minute walk away.

Guests can feel at home and use the shower and kitchen freely. They can come and go at any time. I could prepare meals together and accompany travelers to visit Montreal's most famous tourist spots so they don't feel alone and lost. However, all of this depends on my availability. You can also go out alone and meet other people, you should always feel free. Furthermore, I am always available to lend a hand if needed.
