About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I dont want to be cliche'd but to travel and see as many places as I can,

Im currently editing this Couchsurfing profile and five years ago when I first wrote this to "see as many places as I can" was my mission but now as I've become older my mission is to learn about the countries I visit from the people that live there..

ABOUT ME

I'm a 29 year old Londoner with my roots in Pakistan, living in london is beautiful because my identity is not confined to these two countries.. London is so vast that iv'e been exposed to all different cultures.

PHILOSOPHY

I think everyone should be free to do what they want without hurting anyone.. I also want to learn from others and change my perspective on things. I guess what I'm saying is people argue to be right not to learn from others and in order to grow I need to be willing to learn!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am really big on having interesting conversations at the moment, things that would make myself go hmm and impart wisdom on myself, Everyone has different point of views and as Muhammad Ali said "A man who views the world the same at fifty as he did at twenty has wasted thirty years" .. I believe this quote can be used in a year as well as decades. I guess im always trying to evolve and think differently and positively by learning from others

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I heard about couchsurfing in Thailand and was told about the community while staying in a Hostel and really liked the idea, I made a profile then and there and I found out about events across London and have attended a few (curiosity got the better of me) and the community is really cool, bar a few. I first couchsurfed in America and it was such a good experience having conversations in the night about life and also being shown the best parts of cities. I have hosted a few times now which was always really cool and it felt good giving my couch to someone.. Hopefully when I get back to the UK I will start to host more people!
