About Me
Salaam I’m , originally from Ethiopia but currently living in Saudi Arabia. My journey across these two culturally rich countries has shaped who I am today a blend of Ethiopian warmth and Saudi hospitality. I’m excited to share a piece of my world with others while also learning from yours!
Growing up in Ethiopia, I was surrounded by vibrant traditions, amazing food, and a deep sense of community. Moving to Saudi Arabia gave me a new perspective and appreciation for different ways of life. Together, these experiences have taught me to value diversity, kindness, and the power of connection.
I’m an open-minded and curious person who loves meeting new people, hearing their stories, and learning about their cultures. I believe that every encounter has something to teach us, whether it’s a new perspective, a shared laugh, or even a recipe from a faraway land!
In my free time, exploring local markets, hiking, photography I’m also passionate about sharing my culture—if you’re curious, or introduce you to Ethiopian coffee, which is a big part of my heritage!
As someone who loves both hosting and traveling, I find joy in exchanging experiences and creating meaningful connections. Whether it’s sharing a meal, exploring a city, or just having a great conversation, I’m always up for an adventure or learning something new.
Looking forward to meeting you, sharing stories, and building great memories together!

I joined Couchsurfing because I truly believe in the power of human connection and cultural exchange. It’s an amazing way to create memories, gain new perspectives, and break down cultural barriers.
For me, Couchsurfing is more than just a place to stay—it’s a chance to foster connections, share experiences, and make the world feel a little smaller, one person at a time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of the most amazing things I’ve done was visiting an animal orphanage in Nairobi and getting the chance to feed elephants and giraffes. Watching baby elephants eagerly reach out for their bottles and hand-feeding giraffes while they gently took food from my hands was unforgettable. It was such a humbling experience to be so close to these incredible animals and learn about their rescue stories.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you about Ethiopian culture, traditions, and history!famous coffee ceremony. If you’re interested, I can also teach you a few Amharic phrases or words to impress your friends.
I’m eager to learn about your culture, language, and way of life. Whether it’s cooking a local dish, hearing about your country’s traditions, or learning a new skill, I’m always curious and open to new experiences. Traveling and meeting people are my favorite ways to grow and expand my perspective.
I’m happy to share stories. I can share a bit of my culture, living style and food, or simply having meaningful conversations. I believe sharing is the best way to connect with others, and I’m always ready to exchange knowledge, laughter, and experiences.
