About Me

ABOUT ME

My name's Mohammed. I'm a friendly, outgoing young man from the bright lights of Cardiff Wales. Currently living in little Bristol though :)

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy is Guettaism, the belief that David Guetta's music pierces the soul and captures the human condition in a perfect light. (Sarcasm). Wrote this years ago and for posterity have kept it but I am a sound guy and just treat others like youd like to be treated.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've been attending Cardiff couchsurfing meetings for a couple of years now and have stayed at others houses who ive met but not through coychsurfers. Also my friend and I have hosted people and they rather seemed to enjoy my company if I do say so myself.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite film is The Great Gatsby which if it comes down to it I cannot explain why I love it. There are reasons like the soundtrack, the cinematography and even the fact the story ultimately has no real point since the main character ends up in a hospital. Plus id read the book and enjoyed it even then. Favourite books range but most recent is a sci fi book called Hyperion and when it comes to music it's kind of the same so the most recent albums I loved were by father john misty and banks.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Not much which is why I want to go anywhere, though I have a couple of funny stories.
I find if im in a conversation I remember interesting stuff but can't just call them up.

Teach, Learn, Share

Id love to learn more instruments and generally anything. So if you have something cool to share you and I will quickly become friends

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my humour, love of music and a predisposition for showing off Maria Bamford who along with Stuart Lee are my favourite comedians. Oh and my shoddy cooking which they are more then welcome to help me improve or outrightly reject.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Djibouti, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

Somalia, United Kingdom
