I am one of the biggest extroverts one will ever meet in one's life. Trust me on that. :) I am a Computer Scientist currently working as a Researcher in a famous Multi National Corporation. I double up as a (boring) stand up comedian when I am with my friends. I love to talk and go on and on for hours, but also am a good listener. I believe that when one speaks, one repeats what one knows and when one listens, one learns something new.

I am a believer, a big believer in humanity. I strongly believe that people are inherently nice and good at heart. I am broad minded and accepts everyone for the way they are. I prefer to find the good sides of people and concentrate on those.

Generally, I am very sarcastic and love photography, traveling, sleeping, cycling, playing Squash/Table Tennis/Football and meeting new people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe Couchsurfing to be the best thing that happened to the traveler in me. Being extremely social and extroverted and a big believer in humanity, I love meeting new people. I believe that I have something to learn from everyone I come across in my life. Though I understand that no one is perfect, I strongly feel that everyone is perfect in one way or the other.

Interests

I am interested in almost everything. I have a 'never stop learning' attitude. I am very enthusiastic about photography, football (the real one; not the American one), squash, table tennis, cycling, music, mathematics, history, geography, psychology, entrepreneurship, design and politics. I love to talk, dance (I suck at it nevertheless) and sleep (which I consider the best thing in one's life).

If I am not talking (a rare phenomenon) and not playing some sport, I am sleeping!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music. I listen to anything remotely musical. Born with no singing skills, i am in the open about being jealous of good singers. I admire people with musical skills.

I watch a hell lot of movies and soaps. It's hard for me to choose a few favourites.

I love reading historical and fact based books. I claim to not really like fiction (I read some nevertheless), even though I like writing fiction.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Either I have done so many amazing things in life that I can't just choose one or I haven't done anything in life that makes the cut.

What's closest to the truth is that I believe in and love the little joys of life and the things I have done that I consider amazing are usually not seen the same way or seen unremarkable by others.

Teach, Learn, Share

Photography (I run a non-profit start up called Lumos Media which conducts free photography workshops and photowalks). I am also a graphic designer, hence, can help with photoshop/illustrator. I am pretty good with Mathematics, Computer Science and Humanities, especially History, in case anyone is interested. People say I am a good teacher. ;)
