ABOUT ME
Son of liberal academics. Exchangestudent in the US Midwest 1972-73. Have friends in the US, Australia, New Zealand, Greece, Canada.
Have two daughters but have divorced both mothers. Though I see them regularly. Have been in my present relationship with Karen Lundstoft for 6 years. We surround ourselves with animals; 4 horses, a donkey (very cute and amusing) , and a lot of sheep, goats, chickens and rabbits. We live in a small naturereserve on a narrow peninsula with excellent views of the ocean and lots of wild flowers.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
We have a big house with lots of guestrooms. We love nice guests for a day or two.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
None so far, but hitch hiked in Ireland 3 years ago and has hitchhiked a lot earlier and love it. The excitement of not knowing what happens next and meeting all kinds of interesting people.

Reads Science mags and National Geographic.
Favorite books: "A short story of nearly everything" by Bill Bryson, "Guns, germs and steel", "The third chimp" and "Collapse" by Jared Diamond. "PLan B for earth" by Earthwatch institute founder lester brown" a must read for everyone.
Enjoy the Beatles, Lisa Ekdal and similar melodic lyrics.
Favorite movie; Brazil by Terry Gilliam. Monty Python "Life of Brian" and "Jabberwoky". Allso enjoys "Starwars" and a broad range of other films.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Seen dolphins swimming under the bowspit in bioluminesence off the Azores and Monarc butterflies covering trees in Santa Cruze, CA are among the most amazing experiences I have had, but I feel fortunate to have had a lot.
