About Me

Hi, I am Ahmed Sagor, a professional photographer in Bangladesh. Portrait and nature photography are two of my specialties. I also do event, fashion, street, travel, product and wedding photography. Working as a photographer for 8 years. I think there are no magic formulas to get good pictures, it is clear to me that quality is never the result of chance but the addition of skills and attitudes. It is only achieved by combining professionalism and creativity.
I studied Media studies and Journalism. I have a PGD degree in Film Direction. Always surrounded by images and always learning, which is something that never ends.

Teach, Learn, Share

"Teach, Learn, Share" is a wonderful motto that embodies the spirit of mutual exchange and growth, especially in settings like Couchsurfing. Here's what each aspect entails:

Teach: This involves sharing your knowledge, skills, and experiences with others. Whether you're teaching a language, a cooking technique, a craft, or sharing insights from your profession or travels, teaching enriches both the teacher and the learner. Teaching can foster connections, build confidence, and promote cultural understanding.

Learn: Embracing a posture of learning means being open to new experiences, perspectives, and knowledge. When you're staying with hosts, you have an opportunity to learn about their culture, traditions, and way of life. This could involve learning a new language, trying new foods, or gaining insights into local customs and practices. Learning from others fosters personal growth, empathy, and a broader worldview.

Share: Sharing encompasses giving and receiving in equal measure. It involves sharing your own experiences, stories, and resources with others, while also being open to receiving the same in return. Sharing can take many forms, from sharing meals and accommodations to sharing ideas, emotions, and laughter. Through sharing, connections are forged, friendships are formed, and a sense of community is nurtured.

In the context of Couchsurfing, embracing the principles of Teach, Learn, Share can lead to meaningful exchanges, cultural enrichment, and unforgettable experiences. By teaching what you know, learning from others, and sharing in the joys of human connection, you contribute to a vibrant and inclusive global community.

What I Can Share with Hosts

When staying with hosts through platforms like Couchsurfing, it's important to offer something in return for their hospitality. Here are some things you can share with hosts:

Cultural Exchange: Share your own culture, traditions, and customs with your hosts. This could include teaching them about your country's cuisine, language, festivals, or everyday practices.

Cooking: Offer to cook a meal from your home country for your hosts. Sharing a meal is a wonderful way to bond and exchange culinary traditions.

Language Skills: If you're proficient in a language your hosts are interested in learning, offer to help them practice or provide informal language lessons.

Skills or Hobbies: Share your skills or hobbies with your hosts. Whether it's playing a musical instrument, practicing yoga, painting, or anything else, offering to share your talents can enrich both your experience and your hosts'.

Stories and Experiences: Share stories from your travels or life experiences. Engage in meaningful conversations with your hosts, and be open to learning from their stories as well.

Help with Chores: Offer to help with household chores or tasks. Whether it's cooking, cleaning, gardening, or running errands, lending a hand can show your appreciation for your hosts' hospitality.

Respect and Consideration: Above all, be a respectful and considerate guest. Follow your hosts' house rules, clean up after yourself, and show gratitude for their hospitality.

Remember that Couchsurfing is not just about finding free accommodation; it's about building connections, fostering cultural exchange, and creating meaningful experiences. By offering something in return for your hosts' hospitality, you contribute to the spirit of reciprocity and mutual respect that defines the Couchsurfing community.
