About Me
I'm a restless Midwesterner with a passion for the Spanish language, helping others, cooking, and seeing the world! Recently returned home from a backpacking trip in Southeast Asia.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I would love to use Couchsurfing as a way to meet locals and learn about the culture of their cities!

Music, Movies, and Books
My music interests depend on my mood. I really enjoy alternative/indie music, but I also love good dancing music, show tunes, and anything in Spanish. I love Wes Anderson movies, any classic rom-com, and movies that will make me laugh. I'm currently trying to read more in Spanish and am currently loving books by Carlos Ruiz Zafon.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One time in Costa Rica I narrowly avoided getting run over by two drunk guys on a motorbike by jumping over it when it came skidding towards me on a hill. Unfortunately I lost my ice cream cone AND my water bottle to the jungle but it was certainly a memorable experience.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love to teach Spanish and English, and I really enjoy learning about the cultures, histories and politics of different countries.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I have a lot of fun stories from my months of traveling and I am an overall curious and very open minded person who loves to share in good conversation with others.
