CURRENT MISSION

This is our first tour together as a band and it's gonna be an adventure. We just wanna get out on the road and do what makes all of us happy, which is play music together. Our mission is to grow as musicians and people.

ABOUT ME

We are a band on our second summer tour! We got introduced to the very lovely couch surfing community on our last summer tour last year. We met some incredible people along the way and are looking forward to doing it all again this time around for two months.

PHILOSOPHY

I can't speak for everyone on personal philosophies. It's hard making this profile for a big group of us! I know my personal philosophy at this moment is to dive head first into what I love, to not hesitate one moment on negative thoughts that cloud my visions and my passions. I truly believe that music is medicine for us all, and I want to be a part of getting that medicine out to everyone. I truly believe that an album can save your life, your attitude. I have a deep admiration for people that follow the beat of their own drum and spread joy and goodness to others along the way without an ounce of judgement or hesitation.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My roommate, Emily, is a couch surfing maniac. She's got a craving to travel and has lived briefly in India and just came back from a semester in Germany. She will be going to Cambodia this summer and just recently decided to study abroad in London.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i just recently had my first couch surfing experience with our German, Kiki! She had been studying in Australia as well as couch surfing in New Zealand and Fiji. It was her first time to the US and I could tell her whole traveling experience was changing her perspective on everyone she met. She fit right into the house and we didn't want her to go.

I realize more and more that community is such an important element of the human experience. Being able to express ourselves freely amongst one another is something that I want to promote as a means to our own self-liberation. Our mind is what is the source of our own reality, so by focusing and changing the mind, we can change the world.

I have witnessed so many amazing things in my life. Sitting next to a man on a plane and feeling like I've known him for a million years, witnessing an enemy become a teacher, witnessing the power of one simple little song in my life. people! and the journey! the experience of everything! even the bad stuff is amazing, isn't it?
