ABOUT ME
Relaxed, easy going, and always up for a laugh!
PHILOSOPHY
Im sort of in search-mode. Not entirely sure what Im looking for so pretty similar to most people in that sense I guess.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Hosted Jay Roop, Christopher Keeble-Watson and Ian Brenkley. All have been really good people so looking forward to hosting more people!
At a recent couchsurfing meeting I spoke to a few people about trying to get a more intimate network going in Stockholm, would be cool to be part of a more solid group of people with similar set of ideas =)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
After a few years in London and some dodgy landlords and agents my back has rubbed against many a floorboards. Stayed a month in Australia last year with some mates on sofas, garage floors, cars and even a proper bed! Wicked time! Looking forward to meet some new friends via this website as I plan to travel around a bit this year.
Interests
Help! I am turning into a dandy! Ive recentlly got bitten by the fashion bug and spend quite a bit of time checking out clothes. Maybe its a reaction to H&M =) sort of anyway.. Im looking towards Japan and stuff from a bit of everywhere for inspiration. Also do a bit of painting (or stencilling to be honest..) and I have recently been chased by security when out painting on tube stops. Love street art, its brilliant to walk around town and just check it out as if youre in a massive gallery. Summertime is all about the outdoors.. sunshine, mates, drinks, music.. Ill never get too old for it! =P

Music, Movies, and Books
Im a fiend for movies.. Im not sure how many I go through a week, thank you geek-god for the internet =) Couple of recent picks would be: Shaun of the Dead, The Science of Sleep (weeeeeird), Apocalypto, The Fountain, Little Miss Sunshine, Magnolia, An Inconvenient Truth, RAW/Delerious (Eddie Murphy always cracks me up!), Anchorman, Stranger than Fiction, The Spanish Apartment, the list goes on and on.. As for music, I used to be a techno head but I listen to most styles these days, most of the playlist is filled with brit-bands like The Klaxons, Kaiser Chief, Maximo Park, Bloc Party, Franz Ferdinad, Art Brut and Remodel (big up Leigh!) but a also have a bit of Photek and Dave Clark (Essential Mix from 1997) and some house djs to even it out a bit.
Currently reading Advice from the Heart (think thats the english title) which is advice on different topics by Dalai Lama. Before that I read The Anansi Boys by Neil Gaiman, really great book I must say but a bit of a strange one.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Sometimes just looking at the sky is enough.. Im a sucker for colours. Archipelago in Stockholm in summertimes, Lake McKenzie in Oz, Carthage in Tunisia, all the tunnels and bridges when going through Switzerland by car.. fabtastic!
Teach, Learn, Share
I wouldnt even begin calling it a skill but I am very interested in body language and read about it if I have the opportunity, fascinating. Do a bit of stenciling whenever I can.
