ABOUT ME

Truth Be Told = total gypsy traveler/Earth Momma/Radical Idealist, Herbalist, Feminist, Lactivist, (that's a lot of "ist") Natural Birth and Child Advocate/Writer/Foodie/Born Jersey Girl.

Lived in Jersey, NYC, briefly in Tennessee & on to Vermont (first college experience-thought i wanted to be thoreau for 4 years) then Hartford, Connecticut. (somewhere in that mess, lived in the UK as well) So, still maintain some of that "East Coast" spunk...but now have seen what life is truly supposed to be about...making a difference. (sounds cheesy i know but it's true.) Currently my lizard skin rests happily in Santa Fe, New Mexico...it's called "The Land of Enchantment" for a reason. And she has finally accepted me...

Interesses

...skin, deep sleep, warm bread...my friends, my sister. Gettin people thinkin...bein with children. Hiking, camping, rock climbing and being outside as much as possible in the indescribable blue of New Mexico. African Dance, Java Junkie, long dazed out road trips, yoga, beatin my drum. Dispensing medicinal herbal advice. Photos (that's why i got so many on here) Costume parties, diner parties, impromptu parties, unabashedly rockin it out to cheesy 80's music, ridin the back of the Harley (77 FXE lowrider shovel head...thank u very much)...

The most recent cool thing to mark off the life list is : during this past road trip -Butt Tour 08- with Lo, on way up to see Gina and new baby Oliver in Washington...I made it to the last 3 states I was missing...Have done all 48 continental United States.
