CURRENT MISSION

My friends would describe me as a social butterfly, for a reason. Hence, my current and ongoing mission is to meet new people, make new friends and enrich my life with awesome experiences with the friends I make along the way. Huge run on sentence, but you get the idea.

I'm always looking to learn new languages and improve the ones I already know.

A traveller at heart. Newly discovered local artist (AKA I discovered that I can draw more than just stick figures). Polyglot. Friendly. Loyal. Fun. Adventurous. FOODIE (emphasis on this one in particular).

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that every place you see, every person you meet, has something good to offer. Every experience, every sensation has a reason for being. We might not recognize the good in things right away, but we can look back and remember what a difference that place, person, experience or sensation made in our life.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I want to make friends, meet people, practice different languages.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I officially hosted 2 CSrs for the first time, this past summer. It was a great experience and I would love to do it again in the future, once I have a couch available .

Other than this, I love joining other CSrs at the Wednesday meetups as well as other events.

Intereses

I am interested in:
- learning languages
- cooking dishes from different parts of the world
- reading
- hiking
- listening to music (i.e. Putumayo Presents World collections)
- meeting fellow travellers and sharing experiences!!

I hiked up to the top of the Azufral Volcano in Colombia. It was a mind-blowing experience, almost unreal, and one that I would repeat in a heart beat.

"Azufral stratovolcano in southern Colombia, also known as Azufral de Túquerres, is truncated by a 2.5 x 3 km caldera containing a Holocene rhyodacitic lava-dome complex. A crescent-shaped lake, Laguna Verde, occupies the NW side of the caldera. Nearly a dozen lava domes are present, the latest of which were formed about 3600 years ago and have active fumaroles. Azufral rocks are more silicic than those of nearby Colombian volcanoes; an apron of rhyodacitic pyroclastic-flow deposits rings the volcano. The last known eruption of Volcán Azufral took place about 1000 years ago."
