One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

After surviving a deadly earthquake in may 2008 in southern china, the moment that I was sleeping in the middle of the grass looking at the starry night, I've got a beer, a bottle of water, some crackers and a boyfriend around me, feeling so profoundly grateful to be alive and to be able to help people around me the next day.
