About Me
I recently quit my job of 6 years to pursue my dream of travelling. I was involved in helping to set up a new model of residential centre in Ireland, working with children and teenagers with challenging behaviour. I decided that I wasn't waiting for anyone to come with me and just go for it alone. I hope that travelling will push me from my comfort zone, challenge me and learn more about myself and the people I meet along the way.
I'm a very easy going, fun loving person, with a good sense of humour. If I was anymore laid back I'd be lying down!!
I've always been interested in nature and animals and in recent years Ive become more aware of the earth and the damage we are doing.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My main reason is the save money, so that I can travel for longer and experience more cultures and learn more about this planet before us humans ruin it.
I also like to meet new people and listen to their stories.
Finally, I like to do things differently and I think couch surfing will challenge me and hopefully I will learn more about myself.
Interests
I love animals. Unfortunately, I left my crazy boxer, Ryley, at home in Ireland. Recently completed a course in Equine Assisted Learning, which I find fascinating. I like the outdoors and sports. I love going to the beach and I'm hoping to learn how to surf as I go along on my travels. I used to try and do some surf kayaking, so perhaps I can take that up again with my free time. I like to learn about people and different cultures. Every day is a school day, so I look forward to learning each day.

Music, Movies, and Books
Not a big reader, but it's something I'm trying to change. I like to watch thrillers, comedies, drama. I listen to all sorts of music but I do like dance, house music especially.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Too many to mention, but the first amazing thing I did that springs to mind is coasteering in Cornwall; jumping off 30ft cliffz into the sea!!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Practical work such as any household jobs really. Walking dogs, cats or children!! I'm easy going and not at all fussy! I can offer hosts my Irish wit and charm. Teach hosts some basic juggling skills if interested!! 😂
