ABOUT ME
Hi there!I'm a 21 years old french student. I share an apartment with two friends of mine near Paris center (30 min).
PHILOSOPHY
"Sometimes you hit the bar...sometimes well, he hits you".
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm a student, I don't have a lot of time (funny, isn't it?), the main way to get involved to my mind is hosting.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Well, it was during my exams. Here in France we students have a specific way to pass exams to join a "Grande Ecole" / or University. We have to work during half and one year in "Preparatory schools", after High school, just to prepare the exam. Then, once we've got it, we have to go to Universities in which we want to go in, and having an interview. Which is very boring, coz you have to cross over the country several times (there are a lot of Universities); you spend most of the time in the train, you sleep a lil' bit...We students call it the "Tour de France". Anyway it's also amazing coz you discover a lot of places/people. So I was in South of France with a friend of mine to have an interview, and he had a CS account and he knew someone who was able to host us. So we slept into someone's apartment in the city center. It was just amazing. Someone you didn't know a few hours ago who hosts you, who hangs on with you, that's brilliant. Things have gone so fast that we didn't have time to exchange informations and keep in touch. Anyway, this experience made my (long and boring) "Tour de France".
Interests
I manage to get stronger in rock climbing (for those who know, I live just near Font). I'm fond of badminton, I don't know why, but that's it. I'm used to playing guitar and I'd like to play jazz music, which is bloody hard.

Music, Movies, and Books
If I had to spend time on a lonely island, I would bring with me:- (in my Ipod) Nujabes (so freaking brilliant music, that's just the soundtracks of our lives, from the beginning to the end).- The Big Lebowski: sounds great for a lazy trip on a lonely and sunny island, right? Anyway, every one should be as relaxed as he is, and keeping a "I don't care about everything but my white russian cocktail" attitude. - Hegel's lectures on Aesthetics: that book is great, I'm used to falling asleep in the first minute I read it. Plus, it looks intersting.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I spent three months during the lastest summer in a summer camp in Greece, thanks to AIESEC. We ate a lot, the weather was so sunny, the sea was so blue, the tourists were so stupid. I met great people too. We kept in touch and now I want to learn Greek, but it's pretty hard. And I'm a lil' bit lazy, actually. My day will come.
