About Me
Bonjour,
My name is Mollie with a «ie». How can I describe myself ? I'm a little crazy head full of energy always interested about seeing the world and curious about the different alternative way of leaving. I finished my degree in Politic and History program and I'm on my way to finish my bachelor in Civil Law. I am an easy lover of small moments of life such as a book , a CD, a sunset or a sunrise, the company of friends. I may sound mainstream but I love to discuss about things that I don't know that I know or things that I don't even know that I don't know.
A friend wrote me this message couple years ago when I met him on the road somewhere in Poland. Now I'm using it as a motto everyday;
"Keep it doing, live it fully, love it deeply, follow your fear, tap your feet, take risk, say yes, dance in the street
say hello to someone you didn't think you'd meet, have no plan, climb a tree, write a mystery, all of that stuff, wonderful, summer-sun type winds warming as ever after."
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I joined CS community when I turned 17. For the millennium generation in North America I think it's pretty hard to make new contacts and friends. Even if the social medias are everywhere it's rare to have real contact with strangers. Let entering people in our life is difficult for some humans because we don't trust others. For me CS is all about trust, exchange and fun. Also, CS is a good tool to see the world one person at that time. Contact with others is important for me when I travel . I like to live the lifestyle of people with whom I live even if it's only for a day sometimes. My goal is to prove to everyone that it's possible to travel without money just by doing exchange with others!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
#1 Going to Woodstock Poland by hitchikking from Leipzig, Germany with a friend of mine. We arrived there and we noticed that it was the only free fest in Europe where almost a million people from around the world were gather all together sharing their love of music. Indescribable weekend that I will always remember for the rest of my life
#2 Running 21.1 km (half-marathon) in my hometown right on the sea side with people that I love. Salty wind and warm sun were my best supporters
#3 In june 2016, I decided to take a gap year and to hitchikke southeast asia (especially Viêtnam) for 6 months
#4 My friend and I went to the extreme north of Viêtnam in the province of Ha Giang. We did a 5 days motobike loop #girlscandoit. The landscape there was more than amazing I felt like I was in Lord of the Rings
#5 Climbing the mount Agung (3000 m) in Bali. We started during the night to enjoy the sunrise 12 hours hiking later
