About Me
CURRENT MISSION
See what I can of the world! Find my zen. Be happy.
ABOUT ME
I'm a pretty laid back person - I'm fun, I love hiking, I love art, I love adventure - also food and booze, I quite enjoy those. I can be very introspective, but am rarely quiet. I enjoy cooking for people, sharing my thoughts, and most importantly laughing with others. Life without laughter is empty. There is a lot of pressure in this section, I find it hard to write about myself. I'll let you judge if our paths cross!
PHILOSOPHY
To each their own.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Hosting, surfing, meeting new people.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have hosted in Italy and Australia and have been a surfer all over Asia (even in Tajikistan!)! My first time hosting was with two wonderful Catalan girls who stayed with me in Rome, I loved them for their vibrancy and openness, they also made a mean Spanish dinner! We shared meals, laughs, and some of my favorite parts of Rome together! In Malaysia I surfed solo for the first time and I was lucky enough to find a most generous host who showed me places, food, and life in Malaysia that I know I would not have been able to experience had I stayed in a hostel. Since I started travelling Couchsurfing has been an integral part of my experience, everyone I have met has been so open, interesting, and full of life. It truly is an amazing community.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
How do you choose one?
Hiking up Three Castle Head in County Cork, Ireland. It was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen and I got to do it with the people I love. I'll always remember that day.
Walking outside and having 7 armed Kyrgyz border guards pointing their rifles at me... I'll tell you the story if we ever meet :)
Hitching in a cattle truck up in the mountains of Kyrgyzstan.
Spending the night on top of an active volcano in the DRC.
Teach, Learn, Share
I like to learn from those who have had different experiences and life views from myself. I guess, I sometimes like to share philosophical discussions. But I am also very light hearted, and have a tendency to make jokes. If you can make me laugh, I will most likely instantly make you a new friend.
