About Me

Hei, I'm Molly! I am studying Agroecology at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences. Most of my traveling has been in Latin America, so I am excited to see more of Europe now that I am based in Norway instead of the United States. I studied anthropology as an undergraduate and love experiencing the different cultures of the world in a more authentic way than just seeing the sights. Hence, Couchsurfing :)

I am laid back and I am comfortable living simply and modestly. As an Couchsurfer, I would be excited to either learn about your local culture and typical shenanigans with you, or I would also be comfortable with navigating completely on my own.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think Couchsurfing enhances the traveling experience - it's great to mingle with locals in order to really get to understand a new place. What's better than creating real connections with real people from different parts of our big/little world?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In college, one of my friends and I started one of the nation's first Hammock Clubs. We wanted to give people the opportunity to make new friends and connections without the high pressure atmosphere of other college clubs. We hoped to encourage and enhance relaxation in the college-stress environment. It garnered a lot of interest at UNH, and before we knew it, we had tons of people going off on hammocking adventures together. Good times were had by all.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm passionate about food and farming systems. I love outdoor adventuring. I would love to learn more about European history and politics while I'm here.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am an enthusiastic and creative cook. I would be pleasant and friendly company :)
