I am a fairly easy going person. Now studying art and design at NSCAD University in Halifax, I thought it would be a good idea to travel across Europe this summer and learn new techniques and to find new inspiration.
I have many skills and talents from drawing and painting, to SCUBA diving, to cooking and baking, to singing!
I grew up in The Bahamas my whole life with my twin sister, twin brothers and my parents and now have lived in Canada for 3 years!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am currently travelling across Europe this summer and I am looking for a way to do it the cheapest way that I can (University students understand haha). I have done a few WorkAway's so far but I would like to travel for just a few days at a time in a few other places and being a WorkAwayer usually takes up a week or so at each destination.
I'm hoping to meet more people and explore more places faster to utilize the time that I have left in Europe.
I think that staying with locals would make travelling so much more fun and interesting as well!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all music, but I love classical, pop, and RandB the most. (A strange arrangement I know!)
My favourite book has always been 'The Girl Who Can Fly' - Victoria Forester. It is an absolutely amazing read and I would recommend it to anyone. I love romance and fictional books.
My favourite movies are usual fantasy and romance movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think that in my life I've done quite a few amazing things. Recently at my home in The Bahamas, I became the lead female singer of a band and also sang the National Anthem on National T.V. (It was so scary and nerve wracking!)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach English to any host that wants language help, and anything to do with art and design.
I am willing to exchange knowledge about art and design and I would love to hear and share stories of travels and adventures!

I have so many stories and adventures that I would love to share with hosts! I have had a pretty exciting life so far and usually the people I share these stories with are amazed by them. I can share all of my knowledge of art and design, music, reading, my travels; anything you want to know!
