I had my first taste of travel this past year, backpacking for 4 months and studying in the Netherlands for 5. I'm back home in Canada now, finishing up my Master's before I begin hatching my next travel plans.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I stayed with several people during my travels last summer. Now that I have a fixed address, it's time to give back! (Schedule pending, of course... I tend to keep myself unrealistically busy, so I may not always be free to accommodate people, as lovely as you all are!)

Hitchhiking across Scotland and trekking an hour through a field of livestock to stay in a tiny bothy (cabin) on the edge of a cliff overlooking the sea.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm very polite and don't take up much space. My mother gave me this advice when I began babysitting in high school, and I think it also applies here: Always leave the place at least as clean as it was when you arrived.
