Overview
About Me
Hi! I’m Molly, and currently a student at a university in Boston, but my hometown is in upstate New York! I study architecture and French and enjoy trying different kinds of food, watching movies and shows, and listening to music. I’m currently studying abroad in Spain!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Initially I was interested in Couchsurfing because it seemed to be a cheap way to travel, but after actually doing it for a couple of times and attending hangouts, I really love meeting new people and experiencing new cities through the eyes of locals, and even other travelers.

Music, Movies, and Books
I’m a fan of rock, metal, alternative music, and K-pop, but I’m cool with listening to anything. Some groups I like are Alesana, Day6, Bring Me the Horizon, Twice and Stray Kids. A favorite movie of mine is How to Train Your Dragon. I’m kind of a nerd and also enjoy some Japanese animes, along with other shows like The Walking Dead, Kingdom, and Voltron: Legendary Defender on Netflix.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The first time I travelled alone was probably one of my favorite memories that I still talk about to this day. I spent a week and a half travelling with friends and alone, taking planes, trains, busses and everything in between, staying in AirBnbs, hostels and of course Couchsurfing for the first time ever. I made some awesome memories and met some really cool people and would love to make more!
Teach, Learn, Share
I’m learning French, and I’ve been learning it for several years. I can have an okay conversation, but I need to practice more in order to have more confidence.
I love learning about things and why things are the way they are. I enjoy talking about anything! Exchanging travel stories is always fun, and talking about cultural differences is really cool. I don't know if I can really explain American culture to you, but I'll try my best!
I love experimenting with food, whether it be cooking or eating out. Since it is my major, I can tell you a lot about architecture. I can play some guitar, but I’m a bit shy about singing in front of people. If it happens to be cold out, I figure skated competitively for fourteen years and can try to teach you how to skate, or even try to teach a couple of tricks.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I’m willing to help and learn more about cooking any kinds of food! I also don’t mind a bit of cleaning and am generally a neat person. I’m also open to sharing my life experiences and perspective as an American. I also enjoy conversing about travel, life, history, culture and anything in between.
