About Me

I like to have fun, connecting with people through conversation and shared time. I am a curious person and like to be moving. I pack up my flat here in Vienna, Austria in March 2023 and embark on a longer journey… I really hope to meet kind, interesting, and open people to learn about local cultures and get insider tips. I love to party as I do meditation. I have very many and diverse interests. I am an architect and have worked in the space industry, but have been transitioning the last few years into new fields. I am currently researching and writing, which will continue and be a central focus on my travels. While roaming, I unfortunately will not be able to host any couch surfers… yet I hope in this time to be welcomed by some lovely hosts.

Music, Movies, and Books

i love music of many genre, usually if it got a good beat i can get down (right now le femme is my jam, but this changes all the time).
i like more art-house film, but also really stupid comedy. Bela Tarr and Tarkovsky are very inspirational to me. Last great film I saw in awhile was triangle of sadness by Ruben Östlund.
reading is great. It is one of the pleasures I have in life, that I am most grateful of. I like stories. I like to be transported into the depths of human experience, and be given descriptions of people and things from times and places that I have never known. Some of my all time favorites are Dostoevsky, Arundhati Roy, Kerouac, Gabriel García Márquez, and T.C. Boyle.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

haha. everyday something amazing happens. not sure if we ourselves 'do amazing things' - or if we just let amazing things happen and count the blessings.
some of the things that stand out in a lifetime --- i've traveled a lot and have met many wonderful different people, and I've raised a beautiful, kind and talented son.

Teach, Learn, Share

always. after food, water, and shelter, teaching, learning, and sharing could in my book, be considered the next essential things in life
