PLEASE READ- I don’t live in New York but get a lot of requests to host there. I will be moving out of my apartment in Worcester, MA in a few weeks and won't be able to host again until I'm finished traveling in the fall.

Hi all! I just finished up grad school, and I'm looking to make travel a much bigger part of my life. I'll be backpacking through Wyoming on a NOLS trip for all of June, and then road tripping/ camping/ couch surfing from New Orleans to the west coast and back to MA this summer with my best friend Sadie.
The past year of school has been hectic so I've mostly been living my politics through my work, but I'm very very excited to make new connections through organizing and other activism now that i have more free time and will be able to see a lot more of the country. I spend most of my free time going on day trips (love flea markets, swimmin in the summer, finding new night life etc), making art (usually painting or collaging), de-cluttering my apartment (neverending project), going to see music and other shows

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I appreciate having a local's perspective so much when I travel to a new place- I've met some of the most amazing people thorugh CS that I never would have had the opportunity to know otherwise. I love staying with people who are passionate about traveilng and meeting new people, as well as hosting people and sharing my home. I have a summer off before starting an Americorps position in September, so I'm going to be traveling for as cheap as possible this summer. I've been using CS for a while, but am planning to couchsurf much more while my friend Sadie and I are road tripping from New Orleans through the southwest and back to Massachusetts. Unfortunately, I wont have an apartment or the ability to host until I move at the end of the summer, but may be able to help you find someone to host you if you're going to be in Worcester.
