Hello! My name is Molly and I'm 23 years old. I'm originally from England but I currently live in Berlin. The things I like the most in life are books, red wine, history, drawing, witches, glitter and cycling.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As a teacher I tend to have a lot of sporadic time off and seeing as one of my other favourite things in life is meeting new people I thought it would be great to use couchsurfing as much as I possibly can. I've met some of my favourite people in my life through travelling and I think couchsurfing is one of the best ways to do both of these things. I'm a confessed history geek and love learning about the places I visit. Staying with a local would be a great opportunity and I'd love to return the favour if you're ever in Berlin!

Interests

I really love reading, history, travelling and eating. I love going to museums, visiting bars and coffee shops and just wandering. My other interests are writing, I make a lot of my own Fanzines and also run a book club here in Berlin.

I also read quite a lot, my favourite writers are, Christopher Isherwood, James Baldwin, Evelyn Waugh, Margaret Atwood, Zadie Smith, Bukowski etc. etc.

I'm not that big on movies, I tend to watch the same ones over and over again. I like Wes Anderson films and stuff like Betty Blue and Blue is the Warmest Colour but on the other hand I could watch 10 Things I Hate About You over and over again and still not get bored.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My trip to India was one of my favourite things I've ever done. I would love to go back for a year to work my way around the whole country. I woke up early to see the sun rise over the Taj Mahal and it was beautiful. Otherwise I'm always happy when I create something that I don't want to throw in the bin a week later.

I really love exchanging knowledge with people that I meet when I'm away. I'm always really interested in people's accounts from other areas of the world and their own personal experiences.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm a really friendly person and love getting to know new people however I'm more than willing to respect anyones privacy when it's necessary. I'm not high maintenance and am happy just as long as there's a roof over my head. My interests are really broad so I'd be willing to try almost anything and learn as much as possible about the local area. I'm totally flexible and wouldn't be any trouble at all if you were kind enough to let me stay at your place. But mainly what I can share with you is a lot of ridiculous stories.
