Music, Movies, and Books
Beyonce, Hosier, Regina Spektor, Amy Winehouse, Carter Family, Flaming Lips, Joni Mitchell, Kanye West, Lorde, Lady Gaga, Outkast, Simon &Garfunkel, St.Vincent. Always open to new music!
Books I am reading currently: short stories by Franz Kafka, Half Broke Horses by Jeannette Wells, Breakfast of Champions by Kurt Vonnegut, and The Prophet by Kahlil Gibran, plus I am constantly reading Queering Anarchism because there is always something to think about there.
I don't think I have any favorite movies, but I do love television shows, transparent, freaks and geeks, battlestar galactica, futurama, archer, Gilmore girls, Orange is the new black, party down, community.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Feels hard to define amazing but I think an amazing thing I've done was work in a kitchen and manage 9 people. Feels amazing to dance for hours on end. Felt amazing to quit my jobs and take off on an adventure. I guess something amazing happens everyday.
Teach, Learn, Share
I want to share cooking recipes, feelings about our world, opinions about culture and society, and new dance moves.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm really good at doing dishes, I can share ideas, I am always down to try something new or go out for a hike or a drink or a party, and I know how to make lots of cocktails. I like to think deeply about things and hear another persons thoughts and feelings about those things as well.
