I'm a high school teacher in Melbourne, Victoria.
Done a lot of travelling in my 20s which ended when COVID hit. Trying to remember how open the world used to be after doing lockdown in Melb for 2 years straight (thereabouts!)

I'm also a writer, editor and poet, with background working in the literary arts. I love my home and the creek I live next to. I'm queer and love my queer community and friends & family. I live with my partner Lily who makes jewellery.

I love to read, have 'DnMs' (deep and meaningful conversations - ha!), share stories and eat and make good food.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's been a long time since I got on couchsurfing, and I feel sad that the world has changed so much since I used couchsurfing back in 2008. Now everyone needs money to get a nice Airbnb, and couchsurfing and the philosophy of opening your home to others is less known and fostered. I'd like to reenter this generous world!
