About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Ush, big question. For now I am taking inspiration from the yellow sponge in my shower and absorbing everything I can ready to process it all and contribute my grain of sand.
ABOUT ME
22 years old. Studying Hispanic Studies with Portuguese and Brazilian studies in London. On my year abroad in Salvador de Bahia. I really like honey.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I joined couchsurfing when I was travelling with my friend Eva a few years ago and it is what made our adventures. We were hosted by some incredible people and shared good times. Those networks and friendships have stayed open and led to many a good thing. When I moved back to London I lived in an overpriced shoebox that only fitted a single bed. However, my shoebox was opened to friends and we slept many a night like merry sardines. Unfortunately, I could not return the favour as fully as I wished, but I promise that when I live in a castle I will open my arms to the same degree.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Wonderful people and a great way to get out of the tourist traps and to truely break down some of these walls of communication and catch a glimpse of real life.
Interests
Shaking my booty to funky tunes, burying my head in books, pondering over politics, singing while washing-up, cooking spanish omlettes while listening to radio, walking bear foot, walking with boots on, walking through cities, walking over mountins, talking to myself on the bike, listening to people tell stories, after-dinner conversations, drinking tasty coffee (by tasty that may range from the yummy stuff in those cafes with sparkly silver machines, to the cheapest coffee in a plastic cup served with powdered milk and a smile). Lots of things.

Music, Movies, and Books
Ush, let's talk about it when we meet- have to leave a few things to the imagination.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Book flights that means crossing the Atlantic twice in 24 hours and going through USA customs to go from the north of Brazil to Mexico. Probably not that amazing on the grand scheme of things but is my news of the day.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A smile and the promise to return the favour in due course
(I would also say spanish omlettes, but that depends on having a non-stick frying pan, because the last time I made that promise it all went a bit pear shaped)
Countries I’ve Visited
Argentina, Austria, Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, Cuba, France, India, Mexico, Netherlands, Peru, Portugal, Spain
Countries I’ve Lived In
Brazil, Mexico, Spain, United Kingdom
