Overview
About Me
Hi, I'm Yu Wang, a Chinese girl now studying in Milan for a master program. I love staying with my friends and also feel comfortable when I'm alone. It might be a little hard to define my personality in a few words since I am still on the way of self exploring. If using three key words to describe myself, I would choose "open-minded, curious and self reflected".
For not accepting guest at present: It is because I currently live in a student residence. It is not allowed to give a host in the regulation. There's a reception desk on the ground floor and all visitors will be asked to hand in their ID documents.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I cherish every chance to connect with people. When I was at a younger age, I saw more about phenomena when traveling to new places. Different architectures, food, dressing, people's behaviours- traveling is a way to satisfy my curiosity and I always get exited about new things. And now, I want to know more about the reasons behind, those factors contributing to the differences. Looking back on my past traveling experience, I find what impressed me most is not tourist sites, but people I met during trips. Through this platform, I want to meet with people of different background, share ideas with them and know more about the world.
Interests
Cooking is definitely my greatest passion. I started to cook for myself from primary school. I am not only interested in traditional Asian food, but also love to try new recipes on western dishes. I'm now a member in my school's food association, and write monthly articles about food to share food ideas with those of similar interest.
