À propos de moi
CURRENT MISSION
Headed out from Maine on August 13th for Montreal to fly to Vancouver, BC with my 200cc eduro motorbike. Riding the bike from Canada to Mexico on the Continental Divide Trail. Weeeeeeeeeha!!! Further riding includes the Southwest. Fly home late October. Bike spends winter in Arizona, trailered home later by buddy.
Did it and I am home. That was certainly fun!
ABOUT ME
I love to hang out with animals, including people. Traveling is something I do to satisfy my curiosity and give me a broader perspective on this world. Adventuring with our children has been glorious. We have explored places like Borneo, Madagascar, and Nagaland. Kids are mostly off on their own adventures now, so I'm back to solo. Husband likes to stay on the farm or hunt up north. Been in love with that dude for 30 years and It keeps getting sweeter! I love to work on becoming more aware of my surrounding and how I can be of service to others, but mostly I just act like a silly dork. This planet is quite the trip, isn't it?
To get an idea of what this place looks like, go to youtube and type in Merrifield Farm. ( Not the maple syrup one) There is a short film on there that my god child and I made. Crank up the volume!
Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Great experiences staying with cs hosts in New Brunswick and Newfoundland while en route to Labrador on motorbike. Hosted Newfies on farm here and three kids from Spain, a Scottish woman, plus a variety of other vagabonds through out the years. This farm has been hosting travellers and 'lost' kids for years. Couchsurfing is a nice way to describe it. We just signed up officially a few years ago. Actually, Casey Fenton, founder of this site, used to hang out with us when he was a youngster. He broke his arm once when helping me do some work on an island where I used to raise sheep. Fun little hell raiser.
Centres d'intérêt
Interspecies communication, outdoor survival, traveling to very remote areas, dirt bikes, helping to raise kids, smooching on my man, farming, making crazy stuff out of wood and bright paints, being extremely silly, playing musical instruments that I have no idea how to play, driving tractor while singing out of tune with iPod on, hiding in my studio and napping.
