ABOUT ME

I just graduated from the University of Wisconsin with degrees in Latin American Studies and Nonprofit and Community Development. I am working at a microfinance NGO in Curitiba for the next few months before moving on to Peace Corps in February. I'm hoping to have the opportunity to travel to lots of places in Brazil and explore all that it has to offer.

PHILOSOPHY

She might say it best for me right now: "From her, I learned, among many other things, on very precious lesson. That if you want to destroy something in this life, be it an acne, a blemish or the human soul, all you need to do is to surround it with thick walls. It will dry up inside. Now we all live in some kind of social and cultural circle. We all do. We're born into a certain family, nation, class. I joined Couchsurfing a while ago but never had the opportunity to take advantage of being a member. In my new adventures in Brazil I hope to get to know more people via Couchsurfing!
