ABOUT ME

I am an outgoing and outdoors-loving Minnesotan currently living in Minneapolis. I have spent a couple years living in France and traveled often while there. When I move somewhere I enjoy learning about everything local. I love local music, local food, local beer, and local people! I think it is important to really travel and get a feel for the culture of where you are staying, and not just take as many pictures as you can! Although, I do love photography as well!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have not yet hosted anyone but I have had wonderful experiences so far as a surfer. I love the openness and connectedness of the couch surfing community.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have surfed mostly within France, although I have met other couch surfers from all over the world, mostly from within Europe and the Americas.

Centres d'intérêt

I love trying new food, local beers, hiking/camping, playing guitar and board games. I have a deep appreciation for the arts and enjoy being creative in many ways. Recently I have been drawing and doing a lot of photography as well as working on improving my editing skills to make mixed media projects. I love meeting new people and seeing new places. I like to cook, I love live music, and, of course, I love traveling.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

I attended the Cannes film festival a few years ago and plan on going again this year.

I saw Dave Matthews Band in a warehouse in Munich, that was pretty awesome.

I was among 15 or so volunteers invited on stage at a U2 concert.

I saw the Northern Lights from a canoe in the middle of a lake in Manitoba.

I got to go rappelling in the Rockies in Colorado.

There are just so many beautiful things I've seen and amazing things I've been able to do, from the cliffs of Moher in Ireland to the Hagia Sophia in Istanbul, I am so excited to continue traveling and having adventures!

I love meeting people from places that I've never been. And when I am abroad I love meeting people from places that I _have_ been, it makes the world feel so small!
