About Me
I'm from a small town in upstate, NY. More cows than people... I just graduated from law school focusing on public interest law. Right now I'm taking a little break to work on a horse farm and spend time with family. I have a little ferret named Meeko who is perfect and hilarious.
I spent a year in AmeriCorps NCCC before moving near Boston for college to study Sociology. AmeriCorps took me to some wonderful towns in Colorado, Texas, Arkansas and Missouri.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I don't have a couch available, unfortunately, but I really love this community and love meeting new people who are similarly interested in sharing what we have and stepping outside of what we've been taught is normal.
I've had great experiences surfing--met some very generous people. I've learned about permaculture and spent nights discussing the world and hopes and plans.
Interests
I really like stories. I love to hear what people care about. No matter what it is- if you're feelin passionate about it- I'd love to listen.
I also love to play sports. Let's shoot some hoops or throw a frisbee or any other object, actually.
I'm super interested in animals- and love to meet new friends of that sort.
I'm a big jigsaw puzzler. Many nights have been spent with a puzzle and HGTV. Love it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I lived on a 30ft pulling boat off the coast of Maine for 21 days with people I didn't know when I got on the boat. Needless to say, I got to know them pretty quickly :) Made some lifelong friends and incredible memories from that experience.
What I Can Share with Hosts
NY State maple syrup!
Help around the house/with animals.
