I am an avid traveller who's just coming back from a 4000km bikepacking trip through Europe and who now moved back into the mountains to ski. I love learning about different cultures, languages, and accents (looking at you, Scotland and Australia)

When I'm not travelling, which is basically the only thing I do all summer, I work as a ski technician in ski resorts around the world. So far, I have lived and worked in Germany, Canada, Switzerland, and Japan.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's a great way to meet new people and also explore the city through the eyes of a local.

Interests

My interest are mostly outdoors, and I tend to combine them with travelling, be it bikepacking or moving to a new ski place every winter. I also enjoy pushing myself physically and mentally through sports and challenges.

Music, Movies, and Books

I mostly listen to indie, folk, and rock, but when I'm skiing or pushing myself physically, I tend to listen to techno or 90s hip hop to get into the flow. I hope we can exchange some of our favourite tracks!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can tell you a fair bit about skiing and ski equipment, share travel stories, and teach you some German phrases.
I do enjoy learning, especially about someone else's passion, cultural differences, and language (eg. words that don't exist in another language).
