I've lived in beautiful Portland, Oregon for a few years, and I call it my home. I love travelling, meeting new people, taking pictures and trying new food! I love both the outdoors and the city life.

One of my wishes is to be in NYC for NYE.

One of my goals is to go on a train round trip from the west coast to the east coast: use the California Zephyr and the Lake Shore trains.

I'm independent and outgoing and love adventures and meeting new people! With CouchSurfing, I get to meet awesome new friends from all over the world and reconnect with previous hosts. I love languages and learning about other cultures, and I enjoy being either out and about or staying in to have a lovely conversation or cook together or party!! I'm pretty easy going and open to all kinds of adventures and hobbies. :-)

I saved a stranger who was about to commit suicide: he's a man who was about to jump off a bridge near where I live in PDX. I went out on a stroll one evening and saw him. I immediately took off my boots and climbed the fence that separated pedestrians and the other bridge outer part and held onto him with my bare hands and kept talking to him until other pedestrians showed up who called the police showed up since I wasn't able to call the police as I was hanging on to him.- a passing by woman stopped and called the police since I've been holding on to him. The news tried to get me to have an interview with me, but I refused so that I don't advertise that bridge more than it's already known for such sad and scary moments. :(

I offer my cooking as I love cooking! I also might bring my belly dancing belt so that your friends and guests can have more fun trying out belly dancing!! I'm a beginner, but dancing is always fun!!

I'd love to learn more about sports, meditation, exercise, scuba diving, languages, cultures, and the city I'm visiting.
