I think it's such a nice possibility to discover a place with people who actually live there. So one can not only see the main tourist attractions recommended by a commercial travel guide, but also get the opportunity of a more insight view. I really love the idea of people caring about each other by sharing their homes and also their time. Also discovering new places together with other couch surfers who are travelling is such an easy way to connect and make friends.

I'm not sure I have a list of favourite books, but I enjoy reading e.g. T.C. Boyle, John Irving or García Márquez.
I love reggae music. But I'm also open to lots of other kinds of music - I really enjoy jazz and when I'm going out I mostly prefer dancing to techno.
