Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

While travelling it's always nice to be welcomed somewhere and to get in touch with some warm and lovely people. Those I hope to catch up through couchsurfing, which is such a cool combination out of traveling and meeting interesting strangers.

Intereses

When I’m not traveling and based in a city or place I love to practice dance. Especially contemporary dance and improvisation. Also stretching and practices similar to yoga are important to me.
When I travel, I prefer to spend most of the time outside, in forests, in the mountains or next to the sea. Nature feels inspiring to me and gives me a sensation of calming my thoughts down for a while.
But traveling or just living in a place for a while includes also meeting new people, explore the city and bump into totally surprisingly sites, just sit in a coffee shop and have a coffee while observing the hustle and bustle of the street.
In the last year I fell more and more in love with analogue photography, was spending time in the dark room and now I’m thinking about creating my own one! It’s not just super interesting to develop your own film roll and work like with a analogue photoshop, the complete darkness in the room brings you also in a state of meditation and calmness.

I love the wonderfully written book Siddharta and also the book On the road. Poems are also always amazing to read, especially on a bright and sunny day.

Algo increíble que he hecho

When I was at a tiny beach on the West Coast of New Zealand I had a wonderful encounter with some lovely guys, a guitar player, a girl playing the didgeridoo and a man playing hang drums. And he just bewitched me while he was creating those nice sounds. When he offered me to have a try playing the hang drums I was totally happy for the rest of the day :)

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

I like it to cook together with people, some good music, a bottle of wine and lots of fun.
Moreover I like it to knot little friendship bracelets, anyone interested in one? ;)
