Hallöchen (as I would say in German). My name is Mona and I am a 18-year-old girl from a small village about 30km away from Stuttgart. I have just finished school last summer and decided to travel through Australia and New Zealand.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Travelling is a tourist can be fun but it gets boring after a while. With Couchsurfing you actually get to know local people, local places and it is more exciting than staying at a hotel.

Interests

I definitely enjoy a good walk around the city, read a nice book in the morning. I have been playing the piano since 2 years, so it's more bad than good but it's fun:) my cat is black and white, very old and therefore always lazy.

Ther too many good music, movies and books out there to select only one. Definitely one of all these good movies is "The Martian":)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A lot of things I've seen or done were amazing but standing on the Eiffel Tower in Paris at 1 am, seeing all the lights and the atmosphare was definitely one of my favourite moments. And since I already travelled around New Zealand I can add the Swing in Queenstown and the tour at the Hobbiton Movie Set in Matamata:)
