ABOUT ME

I am an international student from Germany studying Psychology at the University of Bridgeport. I am 20 years old and a Sophomore. I am here (among others) on a swimming scholarship and am pretty busy with practice and studying during the season. Other than that I love traveling and have already seen quite a few places. My English is (I've been told so) pretty good and I also speak German fluently - duh. One day I wanna speak four languages but I guess I have some time until then ;)

PHILOSOPHY

Life is too short to live it half-assed! If you give everything you want a shot, you won't have to regret anything! :)

As I mentioned, I am a swimmer - I love being in the water. I am really competitive and swimming is just an amazing sport!
I also love music and dancing - all kinds. From Country to Pop to Rap to Rock over Oldies to Indie and... Pretty much everything that has a melody and that I consider music ;) I've been teaching myself to play the guitar since 2014 and absolutely love it.
I love learning languages and am really interested in different cultures.
My big passion is acting. I just love doing it. And I love Broadway shows and movies with great actors! I could watch and analyze them all the time! I just love being pulled out of my real world into a catchy story!

My favorite books are (sorry, dork-alert) the Harry Potter books - I also love all the movies. I enjoyed reading the Hunger Games but don't like the movies that much, even though I love Jennifer Lawrence.
I am absolutely obsessed with How I Met Your Mother and Friends. I could watch that all. day. long. :)

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

My first German Championships in 2010 - I started swimming at the age of 12 which is kinda late and being able to make it to such a big event just made my heart skip the one or other beat! It was an amazing experience!

My first time performing a main character on a stage - it was just great. I will never forget how it feels like to have all the attention on me and my acting. I just love it and wish I could get on stage or in front of a camera all the time!

My first time flying over New York City - I was sitting in the airplane on my way to Newark Airport. I was so nervous because I was about to start school over here and I had been to the U.S. before but never to NYC. I looked out of the window and just flew over the Statue of Liberty. I will never forget that moment - I fell in love with this city!!!
