Hello!
my name is monchhi and I am part of a youth-movement called "Wandervogel". What we do within this movement is basically to go hiking for multiple days, sing folk music, cook over fire and enjoy the simple life outdoors in community.

If I am not off for traveling, I live in central Germany in a small off-grid community near Göttingen. There I studying "Ecosystem Management" at university.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

With some other woman from the youth-movement I am heading off for half a year to travel central Asia all the way from Mongolia back to Europe. We are drawn to the rural landsides, its people and nature. Whilst traveling through cities we'll hopefully meet kind people to host us and give us a unique view and perspective upon their homeland and culture. I can't wait!

Teach, Learn, Share

If you are interested in traditional music from different European countries I could teach you some of my favorite folk songs :) Or I could show you some simple guitar chords. Otherwise I can share knowledge about handcrafts such as carving combs or spoons, braiding necklesses macrame style, weaving baskets.
Besides that I have some knowledge about reforestation work, permaculture gardening & philosophy and experience with off grid living in ecovillage communities.
