About Me

I lived in Tapachula until 17, then I moved for the university to Xalapa and I stayed there during 15 years. In Xalapa, I studied English and French and I'am in the thearter since those days. Then, after that time, I came back Tapachula and I discovered and rediscovered my origins.

For me "talk about me" It would be to talk about all people I`ve met in my life. I think I'm a product of many decades, many generations, many people in the present and past. It would be talk about my families, because in every place I live, work or visit I`ve maden a sister, a brother or a cousin or an aunt.

During the last three years in Tapachula I felt a connection with a group of young people who enjoyed arts and cultural manifestations in general. We agree that culture is a good way to build better societies and we've worked together to make some presentations with music, painting, dance and theater.

For now this is my family in Tapachula, also my mother, my sister and my brother, ah! and my cat Monchis too.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I consider CoushSourfing a good way to know and to be closer to the place we want to visit or to stay. We can live the place through the perspective of someone living there and create our own opinion. The most important, I think, when travel is to know people and share food, colors, music, smells, points of views, laughs, regards, words, languages, exceptional landscapes with others.

I joined CS in 2006 for the first time. I was going to Québec and someone suggested me to search for CS, in those days, something like that it was a little extrage in order to stay in another country, but I decided to have the experience, and it was so good.

Interests

I love theater, can appreciate the landscapes, my friends/family, to travel, to meet people, to sing, to love, feel and enjoy life as much as I could.

Also, I am interested in arts in general, in understanding my social reality and try to improve my interpersonal relationships.

Music, Movies, and Books

Puff! I know I don't have a huge cultural background or repertoire, but the less I've watched, I`ve listened, I`ve read, is not permanently in my mind. Anyway I can say I like literature, and books about history. About music, I love latinoamerican voices, women and men, Son Jarocho, different alternative expressions with several rhythms, traditional, classical and instrumental music, opera, popular thythms, etc.

I love dance cumbia and salsa :D

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Likely there are many amazing things I've done but I can't notice them, yet. Maybe every family, every person I' ve known in my path, every conextion with people is a wonderful thing that I can do.

Teach, Learn, Share

Meeting people or living different situations is a very valuable learning. Every time when we try to solve things or give solutions to something, we got knowledge about stuffs, people, family, love, friends, cats, dosgs... that give us a perspective of live, and this perspective is changing all the time.

I think teach, learn and share, they are almost the same thing. We share our curiosity or motivation when we learn and we share our point of view or experience when we teach and finally we always share. Also, sometimes we teach with our actions, our energy, our feelings and we didn' know.

I learn every day from my cat Monchis.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my home (kitchen, room, some food) my cat (If she agrees), my friends, my mom (she is good at cooking), laughs, ideas, music, and more.
