Young,rich and famous ;)
Actually nothing from these things but still - good fun and nice people to be with.
We are a good mix - he is the funny guy, who talks with everybody, she is the quieter one and a good listener. She can cook, he can eat ;) both love to do so - what is better then a good wine or beer and a great meal with friends.

Johan:
I'm crazy about traveling, to meet new people, new cultures, new habits, ... My work brings me to a lot of places around the world, but all of you that did business travel will confirm: it's mostly boring!!

Besides from that, we're renovating our house for some time now! It's getting into it's last stages, but still some work to be done :-)

I'm very open-minded and really interested to hear about other people stories and learn from them! In stead of judging whomever for whatever, I prefer to just take in as much stories and enjoy them :-)

Oh, I learned a lot of 'handyman' stuff during the renovations ;-) So if you need your bathroom re-tiled, plumbing done, eletricity re-wired, ..., I'm not the best person cause I'll be on a holiday when we meet! :-p But if there's a beer, we can tighten your loose screws!

PHILOSOPHY

Work to live, never live to work...
I once heard from a retired guy that had been very successful throughout his career: nobody will ever thank you for having a ton of money, while people will care for you if you're there for them, saw the world and have something to say. If you're 70, I guess material stuff won't matter as much anymore as the people you got to known during those 70 years :-)

But I'm not 70 yet, so looking for the best mix!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Well, I'm completely new to CS - so I have to admit that I didn't participate a lot yet! Hoping for lot's of experiences though :-)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We met for a drink with some CS's once which was good fun! Other people with the same on their minds, talking about everything and nothing :-)
Hoping to get much more experience though as I'll start using CS a lot more to avoid boring hotels during business travels!!

But currently, we are couchsurfing virgins! Help us! :-p

Johan:
I love music! The only problem is that I can
impossibly remember song titles and artist/group names!! So put on a record and I'll tell you whether I like it :-)
But pretty much everything works for me! Just need to be in the right atmosphere.

So many things really... But I really prefer talking about my amazing experiences face to face, cause it's so much more fun to see the faces when talking about it!

But travelling-wise, a small island in Brazil was probably the nicest place I've EVER seen. It truly was paradise for me :-)

You already read about my house renovations, so that had to become a skill of mine ;-)
Besides from that, my day job is all about computer/network security - so I picked up a thing or 2 on that!

Apart from that, I have soooooo much to learn still!!
