ABOUT ME

I'm told I'm easy going. I try to face everything with a relaxed attitude, things are simpler that way. I don't always manage though. I'm spontaneous and love spending time with friends, having long and funny conversations and lots of laughter around a table full of whatever each one likes to eat and drink. I love sports and will try almost every kind of sport. And I love to travel both with friends and alone. I find those two can be two totally different experiences. I like cooking and making up new recipes that my friends will sure criticize. Apparently I'm not such a good cook! Haha!

PHILOSOPHY

I don't have one philosophy:
- You'd better regret having done something than wonder what'd have happened if...
- Live and let live
- Enjoy life: enjoy every minute, every breakfast, every movie, every walk, every sunset, every... anything!
- Things are not as complicated as we sometimes think. Get some perspective.
- No YouTube video can even remotely compare to any kind of experience. The real deal is to leave the couch and do it yourself!

I try to follow The Four Agreements of Don Miguel Ruiz:
1. Be impeccable with your word.
2. Don’t take anything personally.
3. Don’t make assumptions.
4. Always do your best.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm in CS for the experience :-D
The plan B is always a cold hostel, but I always try to meet some cool CS people und up to now, they've all been amazing experiences!!

Interests

Travelling pretty much anywhere, getting to know new cultures, ways of life and I find particularly interesting how things are like they are now in each different place, well the history of every place.
Being outdoors, practicing sports, going for a walk, doing pic-nics or just hanging around. I love to practice almost every kind of sport: from rythmic gymnastic ans ballet to bike riding, swimming, climbing, skiing, triathlon, jogging...
Finding new hobbies: my latest are making my own furniture and complements for my apartment and knitting.

Music, Movies, and Books

As music: foo fighters, radiohead, train, ben harper, counting crows, and some spanish and french groups. Really almost anything!

As reading: everything which combines a little fantasy with a kind of real story... I love Robin Cook's writing, I've read 4 books from him. I also love Margaret Atwood and Stephen King as writers. Right now I'm a bit hooked on the Shardelake's series, by C.J.Sanson.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Having a baby seal playing with my fins and pulling them while diving in Monterey.
Parachuting with friends in Lillo in Spain and then again over the Bay of Islands in New Zealand. Both times as a tandem. I'll take the course at some point to be able to do it on my own.
