I'm a 22-year-old girl from Sitges, Catalonia. I've just finished my degree in Tourism and for the last 4 years I've been working as a travel agent in Barcelona.

I've just come back home after spending some months in New Zealand, travelling around and improving my English.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think CS is a great oportunity to experience the local life and to share some moments with new people instead of being a "zombie tourist".

Interests

As most of us, I Love travelling.
I also enjoy learning new languages and cultures, so I guess it's also one of the reasons why I'm on CS.

I'm changing my mind quite often, it gets on my parents nerves because since I was a kid, my parents wanted me to do some extrascholar activity and I changed every year. I did gymnastics, artístic skating, athletism, skating again and volleyball. Then I put the sports aside and started to learn to play the saxophone. I played it for 3 years but then I started university and I had no time to keep on doing it.

I also have an obsesion with music instruments. I always want to learn how to play all of them but when I start, I give up in few weeks. Also because I need to find time and good teachers.
I have 1 saxophone, 2 guitars, 1 ukelele, 6 flutes, 1 djambe, 1 keyboard and 1 gralla (a catalan wind-instrument which I played for 3 months). Although I have all these instruments, I can just play the wind ones, but I'm not hopeless and I'm sure I will learn to play them someday.

Moreover, I always want to study new things such as filology, musicology, cinema (behind the cameras), even bakery.

I'm an oldies fan, so everything between the 60' and the 90' will probably interest me. I usually listen to Classic Rock, Jazz or Rumba catalana depending on how is my day going, but I really like to give an oportunity to every kind of song at least twice.
